Transport Solutions India (TSI) was founded in Jan 2006 in Chakan MIDC, Pune. TSI has a state-of-the-art facility in Chakan (Pune) and currently manufactures tippers, trailers, tankers, curtainsiders, and bulkers on TATA Motors, Mahindra, Ashok Leyland, MAN, AMW, Mercedes, and Hino truck chassis. The company has engineering and design capabilities with modern mass-production practices, including standardization and fixturing for delivering an international quality products at local competitive prices, with reliable delivery schedules. TSI offers several custom-made products according to an international line of flat beds, low beds, tippers, cement bulkers, grain silos, steel, and stainless-steel tankers. TSI also has a strong sales, marketing, and service network with a good understanding of the customers’ requirements in the Indian logistics and transportation industry scenario.

TSI has 3 joint ventures / strategic partnerships. The first is with Lohr industries of France for manufacturing car and truck carriers. The second JV is with Mosolf Group based out of Germany. Mosolf is a world leader in the finished vehicle logistics industry with operations all over the world. The third JV is with HLM Holland for manufacturing reefers and solutions for the cold chain industry.

LOHR INDIA AUTOMOTIVE PVT. LTD.

LOHR India Auto Transport is a joint venture between LOHR France and TSI. This joint venture focuses on manufacturing car and truck transporters for this rapidly growing Indian market. This JV also has a very deep product portfolio focused on the defense sector. LOHR is a French company headquartered in Strasbourg, France. The company has been in existence for over 50 years, specializing in the design and manufacture Of transportation systems for goods and people. LOHR specializes in the manufacture Of car and truck carriers, trams for intracity transportation, railroaders, and defense equipment. With a workforce of over 2000 persons, the group owns factories in Turkey, Serbia, Russia, China, the United States, and Mexico.

For OEMs and logistic companies in India, there is a huge gap in the market between their requirement and the product available. TSI identified that efficient transportation for finished vehicles like cars, and even trucks in the future, will be an important market in the Indian automotive logistics industry. Currently, 2 million cars are manufactured in India and this is expected to double in the next 5 years.

All these vehicles manufactured will have to be transported and distributed from the factory to various locations across India and abroad. MOSOLF INDIA LOGISTIC PVT. LTD.

MOS0LF India Logistics Ltd. is a JV between Mosolf Gmbh and TSI with their continued success in operations in Volkswagen Germany, they have won their yard management contract for Volkswagen Chakan Plant in Pune.

Mosolf is the largest internal and inland logistics company in Europe doing the majority of the work for companies like VW and Mercedes (cars and trucks) in Germany. They are a world leader in the finished vehicle logistics industry With operations all over the world (Europe, Russia, China, Brazil, India, and more). With an annual revenue Of about Euro 500 million.

The Indian car market is growing from million cars per year to 4 million cars per year. The focus Of this joint venture is to address the needs Of the finished vehicle logistics industry for the rapidly growing Indian market. Currently the Indian market is dominated by small local unorganized transportation companies Without dated processes, IT systems, and logistics.

HLM INDIA PVT. LTD.

Currently, the Indian reefer truck market is dominated by small, local unorganized manufacturers with outdated technology. The joint venture is focusing on addressing the needs of the cold chain industry for this rapidly growing Indian market.

HLM is a world leader in the reefer vans, reefer trailers, and insulated panels industry.

Almost 40% of India’s food and perishable goods produce is wasted due to inadequate cold chain infrastructure for storage and transportation. The Indian government has recognized this and has announced several subsidies and promotion schemes for cold chain solutions for reefer trucks and trailers.
